I recommend this online dictionary for my students. Remember to read all entries, being careful to choose correctly for a noun, adjective, verb., and so one. Also: a huge feature of this site is found as you scroll down each page and look for special uses of the word entered. This is outstanding!

An excellent resource for reviewing notes on just about ANY Spanish grammar point, each set of notes followed by an interactive practice quiz with automatic feedback. This is a great site for upper level (Spanish IV.AP, and university)grammar practice.
Colby Web Site for Spanish Proficiency Exercises
I often ask my students to do practice work from this Web site. It is outstanding. There are grammar lessons which can be accessed via the SITE MAP. Also, the special units with songs, poetry, and practice are amazing!

The term "podcasts", in this case, refers to audio lessons. These episodes are the core of this French course. If you wish, you can have Apple's iTunes program notify you each time they release a new lesson. You may already have iTunes on your computer. (To learn more about using these lessons with iTunes, see here.) You can listen to their lessons either via your computer's speakers or, alternatively, download and transfer them to your portable mp3 player. Listening on your mp3 player, of course, gives you the opportunity of learning on the move.

The Defense Language Institute's language website GLOSS is available to the public and offers many great resources, including the transcripts of its audio clips. Access the site, narrow the search to the language and skill that you want to practice. Example: Spanish and Listening. Once you open a particular lesson, you will be able to click on the tab "source" and view the transcribed audio material. This is a great site for many language lessons at the AP and advanced levels.
You can create your own flashcards for any subject area OR search the database for flashcards that you want to access. Take charge of your own learning with this great tool!
